Over twenty years have passed since Louis Lortie last recorded Chopin’s études. Plushmusic, in association with Chandos, was there when he revisited them – this time at the brand-new Britten Studio, Aldeburgh. The result is a breathtaking film which captures a pianist at the height of his powers mastering these challenging works on a Fazioli piano.
