Publishing Material on Plushmusic.tv
If you are an artist or a rights owner with material or concerts that you would like to record or publish on our website, then there are three ways Plushmusic.tv can work with you.
1) Publishing your material
Plushmusic.tv is designed to promote live music and ensure it reaches the widest possible audience. If you have material that you own and wish to distribute for free on Plushmusic.tv, please submit it to us, and if we are happy with the quality of the material, we will publish it according to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on a non-exclusive basis.
2) Publishing for profit – Rights Holders
If you or your organisation has audio/ visual material that is of a high standard and you would like to make that material available to the Plushmusic Community to buy, then you can enter into a Distribution License with Videojuicer. The Rights holder/s earns a 50% net royalty on revenue from their content. You are solely responsible for signing and agreeing to the terms of a Distribution License.
3) Making Recordings with Plushmusic
If, as an Artist or a Sponsor, you have a performance that you believe will suit the caliber of content available on Plushmusic.tv and you would like Videojuicer to record the performance and make it available to the Plushmusic Community, then you can enter into a Recording Agreement and a Production and Distribution License with Videojuicer. Videojuicer will organise the entire recording & post production of the performance to a pre-agreed budget. The high quality digital master can then be distributed on Plushmusic.tv.
Videojuicer provides mechanisms for sponsors to be repaid their investment and/or to earn a royalty.
Videojuicer pays a 50% net royalty to the artist (s). In the case of ensembles or orchestras, we ask that one person is authorised to enter into the Recording Agreement and Production and Distribution Licence on behalf all the artists/rights owners. It is then up to the artists/other rights owners to enter into appropriate arrangements with the authorised representative to obtain any royalty payments due to them, although Videojuicer recommends that a split of royalties is agreed up-front in the Recording Agreement. Videojuicer can then either pay the agreed proportions of royalties directly into each Artist’s bank account, (as would normally work best for ensembles) or the whole 50% directly to the Artist’s representative (as would normally be the case for orchestras).
Please note, the Distribution Licence, Production and Distribution Licence and Recording Agreement will be made available in the English language.
