Verdi: Falstaff - Act II, Scene I
Ford (Tassis Christoyannis), in disguise, has just visited Falstaff (Christopher Purves) to try and uncover his plans. However, Ford is outraged to discover that Falstaff is already in the midst of preparing for a trist with Ford’s wife whilst her ‘dim-witted’ husband is absent.
